Aero Supply Corp holds a New York City board meeting naming Brank N Ames as president, elevating Leonard T McElroy to vice president production, Samuel J Irvine to vice president sales and development, Luke Graham to vice president and treasurer, with Corry and College Point units expanded and consolidated in the city. Harrisburg, Pa. Feb 28 United Press reports the resignation of Peter G. Cameron of Wellsboro as secretary of banking. Deputy Secretary B. J. Sitgraeves said differences with Governor Pinchot over banking administration caused the departure. Cameron, appointed head of the State Banking Department in 1922 by Gov. Sproul, served through Pinchot and Fisher administrations and was reappointed at Pinchot’s start. He left the statement with the deputy secretary, saying he resigned after 25 years of service due to lack of accord with the president’s policies and that retirement is not at issue.
At Camp Douglas Wisconsin a collision between the Olympian passenger train and the No 515 mail and passenger train of two lines left one fireman dead identified as AL Wood of Oconomowoc. Another person injured in non critical condition. Wrecking crews cleared debris delaying northern Wisconsin and Twin Cities service. Superintendent O H Prick led investigation.

Veterans with prior bans may present records and the application at 54 regional offices. Those already with loans should file with the regional office. new loans must be mailed or presented to the designated office.

The rugu School band played at Junior High basketball games last evening earning a big hand from the audience. The band offered nine numbers directed by Mr Pomeroy of the Junior High faculty.
London residents hailed Charlain Spencer Chaplin at the premiere of his latest film City Lights, with crowds and praise marking the event as a standout night in the capital.
Washington Feb 28 The senate campaign funds investigating committee labeled Robert H Lucas executive director of the Republican national committee chargeable with willful violation of federal corrupt practices law The Nye committee report ties Lucas to spending about 4000 dollars allegedly to influence elections across Nebraska West Virginia Kentucky Montana North Carolina Ohio Delaware Massachusetts and Indiana The panel stopped short of recommending prosecution citing only its investigation findings
Governor Pinchot announced he will appear before the Senate public utilities investigating committee Monday at 2 p m to submit a written statement and decline to answer questions. He obtained the attorney general's opinion that a written statement should be read to the inquiry panel, but cross examination would ignore constitutional separation.
Chapin and Sons today opened their new ladies and children's ready to wear store in the Cohen block at the corner of Washington and Center streets. Remodeling accompanied the move to the corner location from the former adjoining shop. A Spring showing is linked to the opening featuring dresses coats suits jackets millinery and accessories. The firm invites residents to inspect the new store and its enlarged children’s department.
In Chicago on February 28 Capone, already serving six months for contempt of court, faced the likelihood of an indictment on tax evasion. Two former Capone employees, Willie and Bennie Pope, were questioned by the grand jury, linked to Capone's gambling and gambling house operations.

Mrs Frances Elizabeth Murray widow of W C Murray died after sudden illness at home 18 West Congress Street. She was born Buffalo May 1 1877 and lived in Corry over thirty years. Survived by two sons William at Cornell Ithaca NY and M Murray at Syracuse University. Funeral at St Thomas Church Monday morning at 9 30, body to be placed in mausoleum temporarily.
Pittsburgh February 28 The will of Frank Laurnger a Dormont former real estate dealer and part owner of the OW City Pa Derrick estate valued at about 390000 is on file today for probate.
Five persons were injured in a crash three miles west of Union City on the Wat erford Road just after 7 p m Two automobiles and a horse drawn rig collided as one driver attempted to pass the rig The injured include Assis L Sears of Corry I D 4 with fractured wrists Yolen Rose with a severe injury to the right leg Iwa Nokes with lacerations to the heel Charles Milne of South Dakota with a crushed chest and head injuries Mrs Charles Milne with severe cuts and bruises Hiyerell Milne eight years old unconscious with head injuries James Bickerstar of Union City with bruises and cuts All were taken to Union City hospital Sears later returned home Sears was reported to have been returning to Corry at the time of the accident The Milnes were traveling westward en route from New York City to South Dakota The Rig and two autos were said to have been involved after one driver tried to pass the rig which lacked lights
