At Stedman’s crossing on the Gerry-Colum road a westbound Erie Red road train struck a stalled sedan owned by Stedman, bursting into flames and destroying the car. David Binelow Bemis aged 26 son of Mr and Mrs Harry Bemis of West of this city hanged himself on the Vander Kooi farm near Naray et east of Clymer. Mrs Vander Kooi found him in the yard this morning and cut him down. life could not be saved.
