Terrific cyclone sweeps three states causing deaths

A powerful cyclone raged through South Dakota, southern Minnesota, and Wisconsin, severing communications and leaving multiple fatalities with many more missing. As rescue efforts progress, officials fear the death toll will rise while reports from other areas continue to arrive.

Four Dead in Minneapolis Tornado Across Midwest

United Press reports indicate four known dead in Minneapolis-St Paul area with others missing after a violent wind storm and tornadoes swept through South Dakota, southern Minnesota and Wisconsin. Dozens of boats were overturned on lakes, some drownings confirmed, and towns such as Watertown and Itta texted hit hard as wires were down and communication cut off.

Zacatecas Falls to the Rebels

Washington reports Zacatecas has fallen to the Constitutionalists with reliable word from Tampico. The city has been under rebel control since June 19, and San Luis Potosi is expected to follow as a rebel-held area. General Aguilla at Tuxpam intercepted three million rounds of ammunition for Huerta from a German vessel at Puerto Mexico.

A massive blaze at a six story hardware building in Manchester N J June 24 sparked by exploding ammunition discharged bullets and oil barrels. Firefighters battled the flames after a first outbreak seemed under control with a second explosion blowing out a wall and injuring several people as guests were moved from nearby hotels.
