Four Million Suit Named In Triple Fatal Crash

Jury selection continued in Chautauqua County Supreme Court over a $4 million lawsuit from a triple traffic fatality. Defendants include Chautauqua County, towns of Ellicott and Busti, Triscott Inc. of Union City, and Milo Glancy of Union City. The March 20 crash at Hunt Road and Drive allegedly caused by faulty traffic controls and dangerous intersection conditions. Glancy faced charges of failing to yield the right of way. The case, filed in 1974 by Bal Erickson for plaintiffs, involves heirs and estates including R. Harold Morgan, administrator for Mr and Mrs Francis Welsh, grandfather of Michelle Welsh.

Justices Rule Hortonville Strike Firing Violates Law

North East School Board Sunshine Law Dispute Dismissed

Corry Memorial Hospital Budget Near Two Million With New Doctors

Iowa Delegates Sought in Tight Presidential Race

Washington AP reports Ford and Reagan meet in Des Moines for a 25-a-plate testimonial as Iowa Republicans begin selecting 36 convention delegates. Corry Property Sale Continued

A sheriff sale of property in Corry owned by R. W. Gorakl was postponed to July 30 by the Erie County sheriff. The H E M Development Corp will offer the property for 154 dollars to cover debt interest and taxes. Only one continuance is allowed and the block will occur on July 30 unless the previous owner arranges financing. The Gorpski property lies on West Main Street in an area formerly owned by Agro-Flow Dynamics.
