53 Killed by Blast on Gunboat Hercules
Bogota reports that fifty three crew members of the gunboat Hercules were killed when the vessel blew up in the Madgarena River. Officials say the explosion began in the boiler room and no explosives were aboard. Several rescued men are severely wounded and may die.
