Plane Crash Kills Ex-Brazilian Head and 18 Others
A twin-engine Convair of Cruzeiro do Brasil crashed near Curitiba, killing ex president Nereu Ramos and 17 others including Santa Catarina Governor Jorge Lacerda and congressmen Leo and Jose Leme Rodrigues. Bids for resigning the Gon ford School came in about 3000 under the lighting engineer's estimate, and the Corry school bond failed in awarding the contract to Church and Murdock of Evia for 8765. Nine bids ranged widely. the high bid reached 18390 while the low quota was far below. The scope covers relighting four rooms and hallways at the Concord School in summer.
