Ex convict tied to Erie assault linked by jacket button
Police say Steve Kuniak a released inmate is connected to an assault on Esther Marsh 15 by matching a missing button found on his jacket to the scene. Capt Roy B. Moog said Kuniak was ordered held at Erie County Prison while FBI reviews continue. The incident occurred as the girl screamed and Kenneth Patterson helped her escape.

Stolen watch returned to owner after police case
The watch belonging to Mrs Parkhurst was recovered after Constable Leon Brown interviewed Albert French, who had previously stayed at the Parkhurst home. French returned the timepiece and agreed to pay all costs. the case was approved by the district attorney and closed.

Laverne Sil Marsh age 62 of Westfield died at Hamet Hospital Erie on Tuesday June 1. He is survived by his father Dr George Marsh who resides with the deceased's cousin Lynn Sil in FD 3 Corry.
