Taylor Seeks Data On Beer Regulations In Harrisburg
County Treasurer Lawrence Taylor plans a Wednesday meeting in Harrisburg with Attorney General William Schnaeder to clarify many provisions of the state beer control act. He notes numerous questions from local fraternal groups about Sunday sales at picnics and club rooms, and whether sales occur at specific places. Clubs wonder if selling tickets and exchanging for beer on Sunday is allowed, or serving beer to members on Sunday. Retailers seek guidance on serving free lunches with beer. The questions are being gathered for resolution.
