Miss King Injured in Wagon Runaway Near Lovells

Daugter of Hon King Miss King or Miss Pautottn King suffers severe injuries to her face and teeth after a wagon collides on a western road while Myron Dalley is lightly injured. The pair were riding with others from a dance party when the rig ran away. They were aided by bystanders from the city. Miss King was taken to Dr Phelps office and then to the hospital. Bailey left for home this morning but the young woman will remain hospitalized for several days.

P R R Ready to Use the New Grade

Officials in Pennsylvania announce a new grade for the P and B division track in the city. Two long fills west of the center have been completed and will go into service by end of next week. The two mile track work is part of a regular upgrade improving the local division overall.

One Dead Four Hurt on Big Four Collision

A fast freight train colliding with cars on the Big Four main line near Greensburg Indiana left one dead and four others gravely injured. The incident occurred while the train attempted to make up time and struck a string of cars on the tracks.

Cyclone Damage Report From Towa and Surroundings

Four people are confirmed dead in the Towa region after three cyclones hit San borne Hospers and nearby county areas. The storms destroyed homes and four business buildings including the post office, damaged the Chicago and Milwaukee round house and shops, with substantial crop losses expected.

Junior Play Draws Large Audience at City Auditorium

The Junior Clay of the school presented a well attended program last evening at the Auditorium. A piano violin duet by Miss Wale Jer and Mr. Levy opened the show followed by a piano solo by Miss Marie Keppely. The cast included C Crown as villain with Rob Smith and Lyle Mough in supporting roles. The feature film "A Ruste Ro Mande" and a lever titled "Rooms to Yn" showcased Arline Drought Thelma Manwarren Pearlin Babett Clifard Jourdet Helen Wallace Ole Young and Joseph Osborne. The show closed with traditional chorus numbers and a dance at K of P Hall.

Rockefeller Lawyer Says Rockefeller Near Death

United Press reports in Washington that William Rockefeller’s attorney told the Interstate Commerce Commission the tycoon is near death and cannot testify. The commission may force appearance. next week they will question George F. Baker of The National Bank.

Auto Bandits Captured in New York

United Press reports a New York confession by chauffeur Pred Kelly who drove the car used in a high end robbery. Police believed other gang members were being rounded up as three accomplices and two more suspects faced warrants.

Chilean envoy dissatisfied may break mediation

Chicago June 6 a jury verdict in a breach of promise suit found Homer Robeheaver must pay Miss Georgia Jay twenty thousand dollars. Robeheaver was not in court. The jury noted his admission of unfaithfulness with the plaintiff. The defense will press a motion for a new trial next week.

Woodmen's Memorial Observed by Corry Camp 16

Tomorrow the Woodmen of Corry Camp 16 plan a Memorial Day observance with a 2 90 o'clock gathering at the Traction Bay rooms. They will march to the cemetery to decorate graves and at 3 o'clock the Ladies Circle will hold a memorial service in the Traction building. The Circle mourns member Mrs John ONeil.
