Erie County plans huge ECMPC expansion move
The Erie County Association of Townships and Boroughs urges county commissioners to adopt a resolution expanding the ECMPC from nine to 48 members. The plan divides appointments among Erie County, the city of Erie, Corry, and townships, with both elected officials and citizen members. If approved, the reorganized board would draft a regional master plan and assist local planning and zoning. An effective four and one-half mill tax increase in July would fund the plan for Corry property owners.
