Picking Jury to Try Senauksas First on Trial
Joe Senauksas a 22 year old, arrested at a Colza farm, confessed killer of Metro Seminuk the 40 year old owner of Brokenstraw Airport Lin near Youngsville and Pittsfield road, stood for jury selection in Warren county court. Indictments against Polens and Mrs Seminuk followed by grand jury action. Jury selection stretched as about thirty of the panel were excused and a special panel for the quarter sessions court was expected to exhaust before a final juror was seated. Evidence presented to the grand jury supported strong cases against the trio with confessions from Senauskas Polens and admissions from Mrs Seminuk. Polens said to have paid $120 to hire a killer and Mrs Seminuk also implicated. The sensational case drew wide attention in the county.
