Fumes Fatal to Grand Valley Youth in Barn Accident
George Rowland Hebets 18 of Grand Valley died from carbon monoxide fumes Saturday night while working on a car in a barn on Earl Gilbert’s farm near Centerville. Found by Mr Gilbert, he was transported to Titusville City Hospital but died from the fumes. Deputy Coroner M C Sonne ruled the death accidental. Survived by mother Gladys Brown, three brothers, a sister, a half brother, and grandmother. Funeral services set for Tuesday at 2 o clock at Esselior church with burial in Esselior cemetery.

Narrow escape in plane crash near Chicago
