North Eastman Painter Dies After 30 Foot Fall
Charles Bright 54 a painter of Pearl Street North East died at Hamot hospital after a 30 foot fall Wednesday afternoon. He fell from a ladder while pointing Dr J C Douville's home in North East and struck a telephone wire breaking it. He was treated by Dr H M Wishart then transported by ambulance to Hamot with fatal injuries.

Rail System Proposed by Pittsburgh Lisbon and Western
United Press reports in Washington on July 27 that Assistant Finance Director C. V. Burnside urged the Interstate Commerce Commission to approve 41 miles of branch lines by the Pittsburgh Lisbon and Western Railroad. The proposed route would connect Smiths Ferry in Pennsylvania with the Youngstown district.

Corydon Girl Took Poison In Hotel Tragic Suicide Attempt
Identification of the woman who died by suicide in Warren was made as Mrs Evilyn Laine of Corydon R D 1. Her father James Gray reported multiple prior attempts including a lysol drinking in Oil City. Mrs Laine remains in critical condition in Warren General Hospital as her husband remains missing. Charles Wales was in Warren on business.

Ty J Mosbacher, age 28, who lost both legs in the Erie yard accident March 23 in Meadville, reaches a settlement with the railroad company. He will receive 132,300 compensation after guardian details filed with the Court of Common Pleas. Mosbacher was struck by a light switch engine near Ghestnut Street and hospital care followed Spencer Hospital.

A 10 month old, sy 1 var. Warner, died when the automobile door opened on a rough road near Portersville. The infant was crushed between the car and the road as the vehicle was driven by the father Tanda Warner. The coroner ruled the death accidental.

Identify body river victim in Monongahela incident
The body of a man believed to be Ben Williamas 42 of Scranton Pa was found in the Monongahela River. A medical exam card in his pocket indicated he worked for Keystone Commissary Company Monaca Pa. He had been in the water about a week and authorities said a sheriff sought suspect Amos McGiorn of Stonsbiers in connection with a related attack on a family.
