Two Hurt In Corry Area Auto Incident
Wells, 18, of Pleasantville, suffered multiple cuts and bruises to the head chest and arms and was treated at Corry hospital and released. He was brought there by the Corry Ambulance Service. Morris auto damage was $1200 according to Corry State Police. A charge of driving too fast for the conditions was noted.

Verald Ww. v0 Mr. Wetherbee 73 of R. D. 2 Spartansburg died this morning at Corry Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. Born May 17, 1904 in Sparta Township, he was a retired farmer. He married Mildred Harmon on December 14, 1917. Survived by three daughters, seven grandchildren, one great grand son, one brother Ralph of Yorktown Texas, two sisters Helen Morrison of Irving Texas and Mildred Jones of Desert Hot Springs California. Preceded in death by daughter Margaret. Friends may call at H. Richard Hayes Funeral Home 7–9 p.m. today and 2–4 and 7–9 p.m. tomorrow. Services 2 p.m. Monday. Burial Rose Hill Cemetery Spartansburg.

In NEW FRANKLIN Pennsylvania an automobile veered off Route 316 striking a pole then a wall and a tree. Henry Smith 26 of Waynesboro was pronounced dead at the scene. The car was operated by John H Woodring 26 of Waynesboro who was treated at Chambersburg Hospital and released. police said charges may follow.
