Scaffolding Collapse Injures Two in Broeton
Penkirk July 11 George Prank of Muffalo fell from a scaffold at the Peerless factory in Broeton yesterday afternoon and sustained injuries to the back and head with possible internal damage. Allert Winner of Fredonia also injured with minor head injuries. They were taken to Browis Memorial Hospital. both were working as carpenters on the new factory project when the scaffold gave way and they fell to the ground.

Woman killed by street car in town
Junie S. Galbraith of 146 Jonea vid Gifford Avenue was killed instantly when struck by a street car bound for Jamestown. The accident occurred near the Art Motel plant as she stepped onto the track and did not see the approaching car. Coroner reports she died of a broken neck. The car was Yonkers type, run by Motorman Whetches and Conductor Pam Slesins.

Bull Wounds Farmer In Jersey Bull Attack
July 11 George W. Kelsey, a well known farmer, was seriously injured when a 1,200 pound Jersey bull broke loose in the stable. The horn pierced his right thigh and tossed him, leaving him unconscious at times. He was taken to his home and later regained consciousness amid severe pain. The bull, eight years old, had previously been considered gentle.
