Three fires in the Pittsburgh district yesterday caused more than $18,000 in damage. A three story duplex fire trapped a 13 year old girl and forced 19 people from their homes, a 26 year old man rescued two children, and a mother and her child were overcome by smoke. Firemen recovered a four year old girl and her mother from the second floor. A separate blaze at a three story building damaged the Fishburgh Plate User Company facility, with extensive damage to the interior and surrounding structures.
