Mail carrier borrows car after wreck in Amestown
July 9 report states 18 year old Arthur Goggins, a rural mail carrier, suffered injuries in a collision on Pe Hill while continuing to deliver mail in a borrowed car. Sheriff Edgar Teculver indicated Edwin Wroblewski of Pittsburgh CO was approaching from the west when the crash occurred on the hill.

Two individuals, Kenneth B. Simmons 25 and Dorothy Jonica Rankin 28, are charged with abandonment of a child. Jamestown police say they were indicted in June and are being held in Mayville jail. They are scheduled to appear before Judge Hugh Monday for arraignment.
