Mother and Daughter Die in Route BB Crash Near Ellwood City
Lowell A Kupfer of Ellwood City and his daughter Jane Marie were killed when a light pickup struck two cars seven miles northeast of Ellwood City on Route BB. Kupfer’s wife, Lowell, 26, was hospitalized in New Castle in fair condition. Police said the pickup truck driver, David Mecune, 17, failed to stop at a secondary road.
