Corry Man Arrested In Hit And Run
State Police arrested a hit and run driver and citations are pending in two other weekend accidents. Paul Tinko, 31, of 161 Maple Avenue, was arrested after a Route 6 collision near Route 89 at 6:45 p.m. Saturday. He allegedly crossed the center line, sideswiped Randall Halfast, 21, of West Washington Street, and fled. Halfast pursued until Trooper McKenley halted Tinko. Damaged Halfast car estimated at 150 dollars. Other accidents involved Theodore Beckwith, 21, of Bear Lake, and Donald Ferry, with no injuries. Sorenno Roche and Emma Alford cited in separate incidents.
