He was 35 years old though the OCR shows inconsistencies. he had served in Co F 154th New York Infantry and was with Hooker at Lookout Mountain. Surviving are one son George of Wattsburg and four daughters including Mrs Mellie Myr now with Mrs Cusinst Columbus. Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 20 PM at the Alexander chapel with Rev A L Roth officiating. interment Pine Grove Cemetery.
