Indochina Riotings Blamed on Cao Dai Faction
Saigon January 29 French sources said the two week wave of terrorism in a major Indochinese city killed 12 and wounded 60 was not the work of the Viet Minh but of Cao Dai dissidents led by Colonel Trinh Minh Te. He quit last August as head of the Cao Dai army of 30,000 and accused the French of denying real independence while indicating future combat against both French and communist nationalists.
