Fire destroys Shamburg Oil pressure plant complex
A fire at the Shamburg Oil pressure plant and power house on the Robert Foyean estate in Oil City destroyed equipment valued at $25,000. The 50 by 100 foot complex housed gas engines and power tools. fire started around 1 26 p m Sunday, tools salvable doubtful, origin undetermined. Plant watchman Merle Paup reported inspecting the site Saturday night.
