McCardle sues Rev. Donald Runkle for 250000 alleging illicit relations with his wife Patricia while he served at Immaculate Conception Parish in Highland Park. McCardle divorced July 1963 citing adultery. Runkle now serves St. Mary's Church in Odessa Texas.
Dana Brown president of Manhattan Coffee Co. said wholesale price of Manhattan and dining car brand coffee will rise four cents a pound on February 1. Instant coffee will jump one cent an ounce. He cited crop failures in Brazil and higher European consumption as reasons.
Unofficial reports say at least 30 people were killed in Dacca since Tuesday as sectarian violence spread from East Pakistan to Calcutta and back.
Corry Chamber of Commerce directors approved a 1964 budget of 16000, trimming promotional funds to cover a 1107 deficit from prior years.
