Pact To Join Pan American Road Accelerates Project
PANAMA AP The United States and Panama signed a pact to fund the Darien highway project closing the 250 mile gap to Colombia. The U S will provide 100 million dollars while Panama and Colombia supply the remaining fifty million. The road would complete the Pan American Highway from Alaska to South America.
