United Press reports a porter known as John Telga left deposits and cash totaling more than $70,000 to baffle police after his suicide. Move to call special election for constitutional revision urged
Harrisburg June 10 The committee appointed by Governor elect George 44 Bare favors a special election next spring to cut constitutional convention delegates. The plan would cost counties about 750000. If not adopted quickly, delegates may be elected at the September primary or November election. The state faces a need for about 22500000 in new revenue to balance the biennium and relief funds totaling around 15 million to 21 million may be required. The committee, led by Charles Margioti, met several times this week in Harrisburg and will submit its report to Bartle.
