Believe McKee killer has fled from county

ERB Jan 9 The killer of 80 year old Robert McKee is believed to have fled the county between early Friday morning and the afternoon of Friday. Investigators think they know the murderer’s name and motive and have traced movements to a point based on four witnesses who saw a car depart the gas station four miles west of Guard on Ridge road soon after the killing. Two nearby residents Les Chase and Harry Jackson identified the car. Police, having a fair suspect description, sought the man but learned he had left his home on an errand and planned to return, delaying pursuit. By Monday the suspect had not reappeared and is thought to have fled the district.
