Steve Canyon Best Bet Telecast Promises Broadway Style
The Hollywood Television Theater presents a second Lewis Freedman production Big Fish Little Fish, a human comedy led by William Winderm Bill Bixby Lou Gossett and Jeff Corey with replacements for the Broadway cast. The TV version softens language and Freedman says it plays better on screen. Also reviewed is Mod Squad on campus with Peggy Lipton and Bob Balaban, and a Butch Cassidy style Alvas Smith and Jones pilot with Pete Duel Ben Murphy and Susan Saint James featuring a climactic explosion.
