Fire destroys Reynolds home as four firefighters overcome blaze

Early morning fire at 311 East Washington Street gutted the upper portion of the M H Reynolds estate. Five firefighters aided by alarm from a Prine family member battled the flames. An explosion and mysterious fumes followed the blaze injuring Thomas Garrity and others, with two families displaced and about 7000 dollars in damage reported. Garrity, Kinley, and Jack Foster were treated and improving at Cory hospital.

Flood Control Dams Reduce Crest of Last Week’s Flood
