Lexington Coastal Steamer Lexington Sunk After Collision
At least four of about 191 aboard the coastal steamer Lexington were missing after a collision with the freighter Christenson beneath the Brooklyn Bridge. The ship broke in two and sank within ten minutes. 14 passengers were treated for injuries. Authorities ordered an immediate investigation with hearings to follow.
