A two foot snow cover hides a car in Mead avenue 500 block and a large snowbank along the curb. The former Cole's greenhouse on Wayne street collapsed its 60 foot roof causing about 33000 in damage. Signs saying KEEP OFF are at St Pauls Lutheran Church while a fire hydrant at First avenue and West Washington street remains barely visible.

Robbery Suspect Shoves Teen Into Clothes Dryer in Texas

In Fort Worth a teenage youth was shoved into a coin operated clothes dryer by a robber who demanded money. The teen James Buinguardner Jr. spent over 30 minutes trapped before a bystander freed him. The assailant fled, leaving the youth unhurt.

City Income Tax Forms Mailed To 3 548 Workers

Warren Airman Robbed Near Tulsa for 2300 Cash

Frank J. Massa, a retiring Air Force sergeant from Warren, was robbed at gunpoint by three men near Tulsa, Oklahoma, of about 2100 cash from a wallet in his car and two wallets in the glove compartment. The 20 year veteran reported the incident to Tulso sheriff and a three state car alert was issued. Massa was en route to Warren to settle there and was unharmed.

Passenger Car Plates Won't Be Renewed Till 1965

Harrisburg AP says the State Bureau of Motor Vehicles will replace commercial vehicle license plates in 1964 while passenger plates for cars trucks and motorcycles won’t be reissued until 1965. Director L T Bernard notes about 850000 commercial vehicles will receive new plates for the new period beginning June 1. The passenger vehicle period expires March 31 with stickers reissued. about 4 million passenger vehicles exist and last issued plates were in 1958.
