Robert Brown Retires From Corry Post Office After 33 Years

Robert Brown, a clerk carrier at the Corry Post Office for 33 years, retires effective tomorrow. He served the West End and the longest residential route in the Third and Fourth wards. Dale Inman will take over the route and Lee McCray becomes the institute carrier. New staff additions include Thomas Flaigan and Blair Hajey.

Sideswipe injures two in narrow snowbank pass

Two cars collided in a narrow opening between snowbanks near Centerville at 9 15 yesterday morning. CJ Cleland 28 of Cambridge Springs and Daniel Poitz 26 of R D 2 Centerville were identified by the state police as drivers. Each vehicle sustained about 800 dollars in damage as they attempted to pass through the open passage from Centerville toward Little Cooley.

Corry Board Approves Hatch Building Remodeling

The Corry school board approved architectural plans for remodeling the Hatch Building at an estimated 32000 to add two classrooms for slow learners. Bids to be opened March 19 and $60 authorized to send Architect Henry Gray to Harrisburg for fast state approval.

Outstanding Patrol Boys To Be Chosen In Contest
