He lies in critical condition at Corry Hospital with grave fears for recovery as doctors remove a leaden pellet and treat poisoning from illicit liquor consumed last Wednesday. United Press reports in Washington that Illinois politicians faced possible jail terms for contempt as the Senate campaign investigation pressed for details on Illinois primary expenditures. Runaway Girl Found After Escaping From Washington County

A Washington Pa father returned home with his runaway daughter located on a local farm near here. She is reported to have come to this vicinity on February 11 and it is her alleged second escape. She was taken back to Washington at noon.

Bed Warmer Costs Lives Of Two Tots

Two toddlers perished in a Kansas City fire caused by an overheated electric iron placed in a bed to keep them warm. The mother, Mrs Glen Cavender, momentarily left for a neighbor and returned to a blaze with the charred bodies of the children found in the bed.
