Niobe Tower Fire Disrupts Erie Rail Interlocking
Early today about seven o'clock the Erie railroads signal tower at Niobe junction near Corry was nearly destroyed by fire. The concrete block structure, part of a thirty-ax tower plant, controlled much of the division's switching and wiring. its loss will cause considerable inconvenience in operations. Local interlocking officials were summoned to Niobe as train No. 28 departed.

Explosion in Home Destroys Stove at 70 Columbite Ave
A coal gas explosion early yesterday at Grant Barton's residence 70 Columbite Avenue caused extensive damage and left Barton with four narrow escapes from serious injury.
