Wilson Replies to GOP Letters in Erie County
Erie County GOP chairman George Wilson defended the committee against attacks and rejected a reform letter from party insiders. The letter, led by Dr. James Weaver, urged barring officeholders from chairmanships and open policy talks. Weaver’s group claims GOP leadership lacks family loyalty while Wilson says harmony and unity prevail locally. William Cornelius, 39, of Pitcairn, was electrocuted at home while developing pictures, found in the bathroom with a lamp.
