Wipf Convicted of Attempted Extortion in Pittsburgh

Bradford Pa Feb 17 An unknown gunman fired on County Detective Jack Allison as he stood at his home in Smethport. A bullet missed by inches and Allison fled to his automobile. The assailant stepped from behind a tree and fired five shots before escaping in a car two blocks away.
