Police burned about 60 small bags of marijuana and eight LSD units, plus joints and roaches, after district attorney permission. Chief Kenneth Nichols said the items, with pipes and paraphernalia, valued around 1600 dollars, were destroyed from the evidence room.
Over the weekend fender benders occurred with no serious injuries. Mrs. Norbert Bachomer, 58, had her car struck twice, first at Marine Bank on West Main and then in her driveway by Brent Shrout, 19.
