New York PSC OKs gas rate hike for Jamestown area
The Public Service Commission in Albany approved a Pennsylvania Gas Co rate hike affecting about 19,000 Jamestown area customers. Rates rise about 17 percent for heating users and 15 percent for other customers, with two separate schedules to share higher costs. Fluoridation OKed for Erie As Year Ends
Erie officials approved fluoridation of the city water with plans to begin adding fluoride this year.
