Corry officials say the city’s water supply is critical as reservoir levels fall from six feet to two or three. In Corry, a thaw prompted cheers except for David Tubba 23 of 723 North Center Street who was injured at the Crotty Ferrando Chevrolet Oldsmobile agency. A chunk of ice fell from the building striking him on the head and shattering his face against an engine head. He was taken to Corry Memorial Hospital with a laceration to the chin a possible tooth fracture and a possible skull fracture.
Market Basket plans a new store at 100 West South Street in town with a 100-car lot and around 7300 items. Remodeling includes a deli bakery and modern decor. official opening date pending due to weather delays and equipment shipments. Williams says Market Basket will occupy the former Loblaw’s building and operate 18 stores in New York.
