Fire devastates Cafliah brothers plant at Union City

Union City suffered a fifteen thousand dollar fire yesterday at 5 45 am damaging the Cafliah brothers cement and millwork plant on shallow streets. The two story 100 by 70 foot main building and detached engine house were set ablaze, with water streams kept on the blaze for hours. The main structure can be remade but machinery and other equipment were badly damaged. no serious loss of life reported.

Petrograd Claims Collapse of German Campaign on Warsaw Posts

Corry Man Heads Lake Erie Circuit

A Corry man was elected president of the Lake Erie Circuit at a stewards meeting in Pittsburgh. W. W. Morganridge named secretary, and J. F. Austin of Corry elected secretary. F. R. Moore of Clarksburg was chosen vice president. The circuit added Warren, Dawson, and other cities, with dates set for races from June through October across several towns in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
