Newswoman To Face Trial In Slaying

Peggy Sundberg is bound over to the next term of Erie County criminal court after a preliminary hearing. Pathologist Dr Henry Lara testified that David Hutchinson died of hemorrhaging from nine bullet wounds caused by two bullets entering his back and passing through his heart. Witnesses tied the weapon to Sundberg, who had recently picked up a .38 caliber pistol from Emil Gorenflo. Police entered Hutchinson's home after a tip and found evidence linking Sundberg to the crime. Judge Wise ruled the case ready for grand jury, likely leading to a May term trial in Erie County court.
