Miami Enjoys Boom Rivaling 1926 Tourism Days
Miami Mayor Sewell reports a surge in visitors rivaling the boom year of 1926. Hotels, rail and steamship lines, travel agencies, and local businesses note a verifiable rise of over 50 percent from 1925 26 and near one million visitors in 1994 season.
