An 7.5 magnitude earthquake struck Guatemala City and spread to Honduras El Salvador and parts of Mexico. Commissioners Back Albion Senior Housing Plan

Erie County Commissioners backed a 2.1 million senior housing project in Albion. Feds Take Over Corry Trailer Court

The United States government gained ownership of a Corry mobile home park by court order from US District Court Judge Gerald Weber. The Hare Creek Mobile Home Park, mortgaged in 1971 for 319000 to Venango Federal Savings and Loan, defaulted in February 1974. Corry Area Man Shot Cleaning Gun Incident

Michael Wolosz Jr., 19, of B D 1 Corry, is listed in satisfactory condition at Corry Memorial Hospital after an accidental gunshot wound to the left leg. He was cleaning a rifle at home when it discharged, and Spartansburg Fire Department ambulance transported him to the hospital for ER treatment and observation.
