New York area owners of small economy cars will receive a 10 percent reduction on automobile insurance premiums from over 400 insurance companies. Fugitive Surrenders After Year on the Run
Albert K. Covey of Celoron New York a 38 year old parole violator tired of running walked into the Corry police station today and surrendered. Police said Covey dodged law enforcement since May last year and would be picked up to return to prison after waiving extradition. Covey had been sentenced for forgery to five to six years and served at Attica then Wallkill, paroled February 1989.
