East Columbus crash leaves two hurt and one charged
A wreck on East Columbus Avenue at 9 last night left two injured and a 1959 car total loss. Marvin Mead of Grand Valley drove into a tractor trailer owned by Lincoln Carting Inc. Haley of Grand Island failed to turn and backed into a soft shoulder. Charles Rodgers, 24, of Youngsville, remained in satisfactory condition with severe facial and leg injuries. Mead was treated and released. Police plan to file charges later.
