Outlines 1931 Road Prospects in County
County Engineer Wm. H. Supplee outlines plans to pay for rural roads and notes Governor Pinchot’s pledge to build twenty thousand miles of improved rural roads. He discusses state and county efforts to designate primary and secondary roads and predicts funding from federal, state, and motor taxes while stressing ongoing work by highway officials. The piece cautions about predicting changes with elections and the new regime, but remains optimistic about passable roads ahead in Erie County.
