Local notices and small ads mix with town news
A dense snippet of Corry Journal items lists promotions and sales from Wilcox markets and Babbitt's, plus holiday notices and birth announcements. It mentions a nine pound baby born to Mr and Mrs Clyde Morton on December 26, and various local ads for groceries, coal, dried beef, sugar cured ham, butter, eggs, and furniture orders to Buffalo. It also covers a police incident with a disruptive Erie Railroad worker, a Meadsville-Meadville area note on turkey prices and a 94th birthday celebration for Mrs Lydia L. Craighead with local sympathy and neighborly greetings.
