Waterford farmer among top Pennsylvania potato yields
Alden W. Phelps of Waterford produced one of Pennsylvania's five highest potato yields for 1953, with 500 bushels per acre of Katahdins. He is eligible for the 400 Bushel Club and will receive the 400 Poncsachi medal during the State Farm Show week alongside other high yield recipients.
