The incident occurred Saturday on the farm property.
The Erie Eye Bank received Clarence Kirch’s eyes after his death at 7 40 p m and a New York doctor plans corneal transplants in two patients. Eyes were flown from Westfield interchange to Buffalo to New York City for the specialist, with a four hour delivery window. Mrs Kirch expressed hope the donation would inspire others.
Gerald J. McKinley 24 died in his apartment from a self inflicted strangulation during masochistic activity. Friends found him in the hallway with ankles bound by a belt and hands tied behind, wearing a leather jacket and shorts. Investigators ruled out foul play. he was an Air Force Reserve member employed by a local tea company.
