Revolutionary X ray diabetes and blood pressure treatment
The Illinois State Medical Society announced a new X ray based therapy for diabetes and high blood pressure. Dr. James H. Hutton led experiments at Illinois Central Hospital, targeting the pituitary and adrenals with carefully dosed X rays to curb gland activity. He says the approach challenges pancreas centered theories, claiming diabetes and hypertension result from overactive pituitary and adrenal glands and that insulin and diet had previously masked the condition.
