Edinboro and Mercyhurst clash in Erie showdown
Edinboro State and Mercyhurst, both strong scoring clubs, meet at the Erie County Fieldhouse as Edinboro seeks advantage in a 4-2 series edge. Key players include Tim Smiley, Gary Stanton, Bob Dillard, and Ron Beckett for Edinboro, with guards Kevin Bradley and Jeff Davern and centers like Joe Ford for Mercyhurst. The rivals aim for a high scoring battle after Mercyhurst’s 72-76 loss at Oberlin and last year’s split wins.
